Pinky’s Pond is the creation of artist and writer Melissa Eggleston.
This project is inspired by her love for art, the natural world, and children’s literature.
Over the years, Melissa’s art has consistently been a celebration of nature. Pinky‘s Pond is a new way to express how she values and experiences the natural world around her with a younger audience.
Melissa has a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and has enjoyed working with young children in learning centers for many years. Her background in child development makes this project feel like a natural next step in her artwork.
She is thrilled to be able to share these characters and stories with you and hopes they bring you the same joy they do for her.
